When Is The ‘Downton Abbey’ Movie Set?

According to The Wrap, the “Downton Abbey” movie will take place 18-months after the end of the series.
Creator Julian Fellowes and director Michael Engler detailed some new specifics about the plot of the new movie to EW.
EW says the new film picks up with the Crawleys in the autumn of 1927.
The film releases worldwide in September 2019.
