NYT Reports Shows Misuse Of User Data From Facebook

Facebook is coming under fire for mismanaging user data and sharing it with third parties. A report by The New York Times said Facebook gave over 150 companies access to their data. Some of those companies were Microsoft, Spotify, Netflix, Yahoo and Amazon. According to Business Insider, Facebook also gave them access to users’ private messages. Third-party companies were allegedly able to read, write and delete messages.
