"Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda plays Jack the lamp lighter in the upcoming "Mary Poppins Returns." Miranda said it was a joy to play Jack because he's "pretty different" from Hamilton. He said, "Hamilton's got no child-like innocence, whatsoever" but Jack is "sort of child-like — he's got this sense of wonder." According to The Wrap, Miranda recalled watching Dick Van Dyke dancing in the original "Mary Poppins." He said to take on Van Dyke's role was "just a dream" for him.
