High-rise condos

Las Vegas' housing market may be known for its cookie-cutter subdivisions. But the valley also has several condo towers, mostly on or near the Strip and downtown. 917 high-rise condos have traded hands this year, according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. The most expensive sale was an 8,205-square-foot penthouse in Turnberry Place. It sold for $5.5 million in August.
