Politico reports that Sen. Bernie Sanders tops the first 2020 straw poll by a wide margin.
The poll was conducted by progressive political action committee Democracy for America.
Coming in second is former VP Joe Biden.
Third is Texas congressman Beto O'Rourke.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren's stock is in free-fall. The formerly top progressive is now forth and tumbling fast.
The straw poll is more significant as a sign of organizational support than as a measure of public opinion.
