Pacers Hire Kelly Krauskopf as the NBA's First Female Assistant GM Krauskopf will be part of the team's
basketball operations staff, which includes Indiana's
President of Basketball Operations
Kevin Pritchard and
GM Peter Dinwiddie. Krauskopf, a former college basketball star at Texas A&M, was also the
WNBA's first Director of Operations. She then became president and chief operating officer of the WNBA's
Indiana Fever. During her WNBA tenure, the Fever won
three conference titles and the
WNBA championship in 2012. Krauskopf stepped down from that role in 2017 to then oversee the Pacers' new esports entry
in the NBA2K League.
