Google to Invest $1 Billion for New NYC Campus The tech behemoth is calling
the new 1.7 million square foot
campus, “Google Hudson Square.” The campus will include
two buildings located at
315 and 345 Hudson Street
in Manhattan. An office space will be
constructed nearby at
550 Washington Street. The company says
Google Hudson Square will be the
main location for its New York-based
global business organization. Over the
next decade, Google currently
employs 7,000 people
in the Big Apple. The company has plans to move
into the Hudson Street buildings by 2020
and the Washington Street building by 2022.
