Trump Calls Michael Cohen A 'Rat' In Tweet

President Trump on Sunday again slammed Michael Cohen.

President Trump has called his former attorney and fixer Michael Cohen a "rat."
Trump tweeted Sunday: "Remember, Michael Cohen only became a 'Rat' after the FBI did something which was absolutely unthinkable & unheard of until the Witch Hunt was illegally started. They BROKE INTO AN ATTORNEY'S OFFICE! Why didn't they break into the DNC to get the Server, or Crooked's office?"
His post comes days after Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for charges that "included arranging hush-money payments to two women who said they had affairs with Mr. Trump, tax evasion, making a false statement to a bank and lying to Congress," reports the New York Times.
Cohen has directly implicated the president, saying during a recent ABC News interview that Trump knew about the payments and knew they were wrong.
However, the president has denied culpability, tweeting Thursday, in part: "I never directed Michael Cohen to break the law. He was a lawyer and he is supposed to know the law. It is called 'advice of counsel,' and a lawyer has great liability if a mistake is made. That is why they get paid."
