Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is on his way out at the end of the year.
According to Business Insider, Zinke's deputy David Bernhardt, is reportedly expected to take over as acting head.
But unlike the vacancy for President Trump's chief of staff, many other candidates actually want the job.
They include former Rep. Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
Other contenders are former Nevada Sen. Dean Heller, and Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt.
