According to a report by Comicbook.com, Aquaman star Jason Momoa offered praise for Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. for paving the way for more superhero movies. In an interview with The Toronto Sun, Momoa said, "Robert Downey just came in and destroyed it. So there are all these beautiful, modern mythologies that people get inspired by and it’s nice to see something different.” Aquaman, the latest installment in the DC Extended Universe, opens in theaters on December 21st.
