Interior designer turned her Grandfather’s property into a hostel for Hong Kong’s creatives
  • 5 years ago
Patricia Choi was an interior designer for a decade before she inherited a building in one of Hong Kong’s poorest neighbourhoods, Sham Shui Po. Her vision: create a space that goes beyond just rental flats. That was when “Wontonmeen” was born. A hostel dedicated to creatives passing by, the space itself is an archive of Hong Kong’s cultural history.
Choi’s morning story is part of our series “Good Morning, Hong Kong” produced by our newly launched branded content studio, Morning Studio. The series is a celebration of our home, Hong Kong, and the diversity of mornings in this city. Watch her full story here: http://bit.ly/2PCIOye
