House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi took a jab at President Trump on Thursday, commenting that the "Oval Office is an evidence-free zone." She made the remark during a press conference and after Trump tweeted: "I often stated, 'One way or the other, Mexico is going to pay for the Wall.' This has never changed. Our new deal with Mexico (and Canada), the USMCA, is so much better than the old, very costly & anti-USA NAFTA deal, that just by the money we save, MEXICO IS PAYING FOR THE WALL!" Pelosi told reporters: "For the president to say Mexico's paying for this because, if we revise NAFTA, that money will be used to pay for the wall is an opportunity cost for our country…if it were so, but it isn't even so."
