It's been a while but I finally managed to get back on the bank, albeit only for a couple of hours due to my health not being 100% yet.

I have been suffering from pneumonia for the last couple of months, in fact since a few days after the last video was filmed, but I am starting to feel a lot better of late and couldn't wait to take advantage of the Avon that seemed in great condition along with the mild weather.

So Sunday morning I walked the 100m or so from my house to the lock and weir with just a few essentials for a early morning float/trotting session. This would be my first trotting session using the centrepin.

The weather was nothing like the forecast of overcast skies and a light breeze. Instead I faced a gusty wind and clear skies. Not quite what an angler hopes for but I ended up having a great time.
