Trump Nominates Milley For Joint Chiefs Role

Reuters reports that U.S. President Donald Trump said he would nominate four-star Army General Mark Milley to be the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Trump made the announcement on Saturday. Milley is currently the Army chief of staff.
on Twitter, Trump said that Milley would take over as the top U.S. military commander from Marine General Joseph Dunford. The date of the take over is to be determined.
