DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang says Malaysia should ratify the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Icerd) to make sure the nation isn't cut off from the rest of the world.

However, Lim said it should not be ratified at the cost of unity and harmony.
