No More Scratched Floors
Here’s how to keep furniture from scratching up your floors. Most chair and table legs come with protective plastic or metal bumpers. If they’re missing, you can replace them at the hardware store or get stick on felt pads. First clean the bottom of each leg, then sand any rough patches. If the pads are too big, trim them carefully. Remember, you want your floor protection to be invisible. If the pads don’t stick very well, try a drop or two of craft glue.
