It was with anticipation and excitement that I drew up outside Mark's house on Saturday lunchtime, having made the long journey from Stratford-upon-Avon in rather treacherous, snowy conditions.

However, our first session together was not going to be missed due to a bit of the white stuff!

Mark had invited me down for a spot of small-river, end-of-season fishing and I was keen to learn everything I could from him.
