Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush has made his last journey to Washington,... where the nation will pay tribute to the late 41st president for his lifetime of service.
Bush died last Friday at the age of 94.... and his casket arrived in Washington on Monday.
His body will lie at the Capitol for the public to visit until Wednesday's invitation-only funeral at Washington National Cathedral,.... as requested by the Bush family.
President Trump and first lady Melania Trump are to attend.
Bush's body will then be returned to Houston,... where he will be laid to rest alongside his wife Barbara Bush, who died last April.
