He learns so much from his co-stars and thinks they are incredibly talented. The people he is closes to on set are Danielle Panabaker, Grant Gustin, and Tom Cavanagh. He did grow up reading comic books and it's dream to be on a superhero show. Hartley's high school drama teacher encouraged him to follow his dreams and continue his acting career. He is inspired by Denzel Washington, The Terminator, Jurassic Park, and Jim Carey. He also loves Bob Odenkirk in "Better Call Saul."
