Penn Badgley from "Gossip Girl" breaks down his new character Joe in the new Lifetime series "You." He says Joe is a bit of a stalker but then is in a relationship with 'Guinevere' played by Elizabeth Lail. Penn wanted to make Joe inhuman and despicable; but then there wouldn't be a show! He connected to Joe by connecting to his need for connection with another. He connected to Joe by listening to Michael Jackson and Prince music. He loved working with Elizabeth Lail, Shay Mitchell, Caroline Kepnes, Sera Gamble, and everyone who worked on the project.
