National Herald Case: CBI files chargesheet, ex-Haryana CM Hooda named
  • 5 years ago
In a big development in the national herald case, the central bureau of investigation (CBI) has filed a charge sheet in the case, in which former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and former congress leader Motilal Hooda have been named. This will come as a huge embarrassment for the cong - which got a small repite in the last hearing when the Delhi High Court, which had ordered status quo in the case as the cong claimed the herald house was being evicted by the govt. The herald case involves a land leased to the publishers of congress-linked newspaper national herald at throwaway prices.
