'MURICA — Fortnite hit an impressive milestone now that over 200 million people around the world have played the action-packed battle royale game.
According to Bloomberg, that's a 60 percent increase from the 125 million registered users in June.
Fortnite is an immensely popular free-to-play battle royale game made by Epic Games, which was released in September 2017. It has since epicly taken over gamers across the globe.
The game tosses 100 players onto a shrinking island, and then pits them against each other to see who's the last one standing.
According to LadBible, part of the reason the game continues to increase in popularity is Fortnite continually updates with new skins, games modes, weapons and seasons.

Fortnite is also available on multiple devices from cell phones to video-game consoles like PS4 and Xbox.

Epic Games makes an epic amount of money by charging players for items like outfits and props.
According to Bloomberg, in October Epic was able to raise $1.25 billion bucks from investors in a deal that valued the company at $15 billion bones.
