بِسْمِ اللّـٰهِ الرَّحْـمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ
ارشاد ِ الٰہی ہے :
’’ اور اگر تم اللہ کی نعمتوں کو شمار کرنا چاہو (تو) پورا شمار نہ کر سکو گے ‘‘(سورة إبراهيم)
if you seek to number the favours of Allah, you will not be able to count them all.
’’ اگر تم شکر ادا کرو گے تو میں تم پر (نعمتوں میں) ضرور اضافہ کروں گا اور اگر تم ناشکری کرو گے تو میرا عذاب یقیناً سخت ہے ‘‘(سورة إبراهيم)
‘If you are thankful, I shall certainly increase (My blessings on) you, and if you are ungrateful, then My torment is surely severe.’
حضرت ابو ذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا کہ جب تم صبح کرتے ہو تو تم پر ایک ایک جوڑ کے بدلے ) بطور شکر( صدقہ ادا کرنا واجب ہے۔ اور دیکھو، سبحان اللہ کہنا صدقہ ہے۔ الحمد للہ کہنا صدقہ ہے۔ لا الہ الا اللہ کہنا صدقہ ہے۔ اللہ اکبر کہنا صدقہ ہے۔ نیکی کا حکم دینا صدقہ ہے۔ برائی سے منع کرنا صدقہ ہے۔ اور اگر کوئی شخص اس دن میں چاشت کی دو رکعت ادا کر لے تو اس نے اس دن کے ہر جوڑ کا شکر ادا کردیا۔[البخاري ومسلم]
