French Police Use Tear Gas For Gas Price Protests

According to Reuters, on Saturday police fired tear gas and used water cannons to break up hundreds protesters that gathered on the Champs Elysees in Paris.
They are upset about President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies and rising fuel costs and were reportedly in route to the nearby presidential estate, Elysee Palace.
This is the second week of what Reuters dubs “yellow vest protests," which has caused disruption across France.
