Empire of Angels is a beautiful track from Thomas Bergersen's 2014 solo album "Sun". I listened over and over and over to Sun when it came out and it is a big part of my memories of the end of 2014! I love the album and it's a little different to Two Steps From Hell while still being really epic music! I know that at least one of the tracks from Sun was used as trailer music for Interstellar so it's the same quality material.
I had a couple of people request "Empire of Angles" which is just a misspelling of "Angels" but it's pretty funny to imagine geometric shapes instead of divine beings.
Full disclosure: I use a bit of editing magic to make these videos as I don't have time to learn them thoroughly like I would for a concert performance!
Thomas Bergersen's tracks are my favourite trailer music without a doubt. The way he crafts this epic music is incredible and it's an absolute pleasure to arrange it for piano, it works so well! I try my best to get that big sound too!
