India is not bowing down to Pakistan propaganda in Punjab. Pakistan's instigations of destablising Punjab is being met not just with diplomatic tact, but also with a soothing touch. A day after India eased passage for Sikh pilgrims by giving a nod to the Kartarpur corridor, the centre also planned to celebrate Gurunnak Jayanti in a grand fashion with the BJP led govt pulling out all stops. PM Modi met the Badals today at 7pm in the evening, where a rendition of the Gurbani is was also planned. Politics on the other hand continues with the Congress's Navjot Singh Sidhu hailing the PM decision but also claiming credit for the corridor saying that it was his hug which led to efforts being made to finally open the Kartarpur corridor.
