From Quito: Student Protests in Ecuador

In today's programme: Students, back on the streets. Here in Ecuador, as in Colombia, and of course in Chile. They're mostly protesting against cuts in funding for universities but could they take the lead in developing a broader resistance to the return of austerity politics? To talk about this, we're joined by Akangau Viteri. He was one of the organizers of the demonstration here in Quito, and he's a student of sociology at the Central University.
