The Income Tax Department has made a major change in the rule of the PAN card on Tuesday. Now, when applying for a PAN card in the event of the applicant's mother being a single parent, it will not be mandatory to give the father's name. The Central Board of Direct Taxes issued a notification and informed about this change

अब अगर आपके पिता नहीं हैं या आपकी मां सिंगल मदर हैं तो भी आप पैन कार्ड बनवा सकते हैं। इसके लिए आपको कुछ अतिरक्त करने की जरूरत नहीं होगी। आयकर विभाग ने मंगलवार को PAN कार्ड के बनवाने के नियम में एक बड़ा बदलाव किया है। अब आवेदक के माता के सिंगल पैरेंट होने की स्थिति में पैन कार्ड के लिए आवेदन करते समय उन्हें पिता का नाम देना अनिवार्य नहीं होगा। सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ डायरेक्ट टैक्सेस ने एक नोटिफिकेशन जारी करके इस बदलाव की जानकारी दी
