We all have to agree that street food is he most loved food in Mumbai. Be it Pav Bhaji or Vada Pav all have their unique taste. Chef Smita Deo shows us one such street food and that is masala pav. Do try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.

Ingredients:
4 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Butter
3 Onion, finely chopped
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 1/2 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala
2 Tomatoes, chopped
1/2 Capsicum, finely chopped
Salt to taste
1/2 cup Cheese, grated
1 1/2 tbsp Frankie Masala
1 tbsp Butter

Method of preparation:
Heat oil on a tawa, add butter, onions, saute it till the onion turns golden.
Add garlic paste, ginger paste, saute them till the raw smell goes away.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala, tomatoes, fry them till the tomatoes are nice and mushy.
Add capsicum, salt, mix well and let it cook.
Fry pav in butter on the same pan.
Sprinkle cheese on the masala, frankie masala and mix well.
Spread the mixture on the pav and add butter.
Fry the pavs gently in the butter.
Switch off the flame and our Masala Pav is ready.
Take it out on a plate and garnish it with coriander and cheese.
Our Masala Pav is ready to serve.
