Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt is visiting where he will make a personal appeal for the immediate release of the Iranian-British dual-national Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe on humanitarian grounds. Responding to a question about the case, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif refused to be drawn on the legalities of the case saying: "She is an Iranian citizen" but said he has tried to assist in the process of providing humanitarian needs and will continue to do so.
