Chandrababu Naidu meets Mamata- 'During polls, no CBI probes' is it 'saving India' or themselves?
After meeting leaders from a wide spectrum of opposition parties, N. Chandrababu Naidu has now met Mamata Banerjee as part of his efforts to build an anti-BJP front ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting comes ahead of the anti-BJP parties conclave. The conclave that was earlier scheduled in Delhi on November 22 has now been postponed to December last week in view of the preoccupation of the Netas with the election campaigns. The meeting between Naidu and Banerjee took place at the state secretariat in Howrah. Naidu has also appealed to all opposition leaders to curtail powers of the i-t and ED in their states as he alleges they are being misused.
