Man's Wedding to Anime Hologram Racks Up Massive Bill

According to Comicbook.com, one Japanese man has found this out the hard way that weddings can be expensive, no matter who you marry. 35-year-old Akihiko Kondo has married the virtual anime idol Hatsune Miku, a vocaloid character with blue hair and twin pigtails that's designed to be 16 . Kondo married the character in a ceremony that cost $18,000. 39 guests had reportedly attended the wedding on November 4th, but Kondo's parents were not among them. Although the wedding is not legally binding, there was an exchanging of rings during the ceremony.
