Delays and commuter chaos as snow storm batters East Coast
  • 5 years ago
The first winter storm of the season dumped as much as five inches of snow on the East Coast on November 15, wreaking chaos on commuters as they tried to get home.

Services were interrupted at New York City's Penn Station and Port Authority Bus Terminal, with authorities advising commuters to seek other forms of transportation.

This video, filmed at Hoboken Bus Terminal, shows crowds of people waiting in line.

"Not a single bus has come through Hoboken bus terminal in the last 15 minutes," the filmer said on Twitter.

The storm came as a surprise to commuters, who were told in forecasts that they would be expecting only half an inch of snow.
