The $1.5 Billion Mega Millions Jackpot Still Unclaimed The winner of the historic prize money in South Carolina has yet to come forward. It's been nearly three weeks since the Oct. 23 drawing. Shortly after winning, state lottery officials told the possible winner to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place and seek council. Whoever holds the winning ticket has 180 days from drawing to come forward. That means they have until April 21, 2018 to claim the jackpot. The winning numbers drawn were 5, 28, 62, 65, 70 and Mega Ball 5. The ticket was sold at a KC Mart in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
