'MURICA — An American Airlines baggage handler at Kansas City International Airport reportedly got blasted last month and somehow wound up in the windy city.

The guy was working on the ramp for the Saturday Oct. 27 American Flight 363 from Kansas City to Chicago, according to USA Today. Apparently, he was pretty sleepy and decided to take a nap inside the cargo hold.

Citing law enforcement, USA Today reports that the flight left at 5:52 a.m. local time with the employee on board. No one knew he was missing.

He wasn't found until an hour after the plane landed at O'Hare International Airport, reports Chicago-based WGN9. The station reports that he told the cops he was drunk and fell asleep.

The man wasn't charged with anything and returned to Kansas City on another flight. American Airlines said they suspended the baggage handler and are investigating what transpired.
