South Korean Air Force's first-ever refueling aircraft arrives in Gimhae

South Korea's first-ever aerial refueling tanker arrived on Monday,... drastically upgrading the Air Force's capacity by increasing its operation time of its fighter jets by over an hour.
An official said it arrived at Gimhae Air Base, near Busan, and will go into operation after around a month of rigorous tests.
The tanker is made by the defense arm of the European manufacturer Airbus.
Korea plans to bring three more next year,... with the total cost hovering around one-point-three billion U.S. dollars.
