BREAD MAKING -Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread
Our most basic food, it is the women's job to bake bread,
fresh, every day.
No wonder Jesus used images of 'daily bread' when he taught us how to pray.
אבינו שבשמים יתקדש שמך
תבוא מלכותך
יעשה רצונך
.כאשר בשמים גם בארץ
.את לחם חוקנו תן לנו היום
.ומחל לנו על חובותינו כאשר מחלנו גם אנחנו לחיבנו
ואל תביאנו לידי ניסיון
כי אם תחלצנו מן הרע
כי לך הממלכה והגבורה והתפארת]

Avinu she-ba-shamayim yitkadash shmecha
Tavo malchutcha
yeaseh rezoncha
ka-asher ba-shamayim gam ba-aretz.
Et lechem chukeinu ten lanu hayom.
U-mchal lanu al chovoteinu ka-asher machalnu gam anachnu le-chayaveinu.
Ve-al tavienu liydey nisayon
ki im techalzenu min ha-ra
[ki lecha ha-mamlacha ve-hagvura ve-hatiferet
Le-olmey olamim amen].
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our traspasses,
as we forgive those who traspass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil

and the power, and the glory,
