Evolution of Human life

Before the birth of mankind, as we know today, the first hominids appeared less than 7 million years ago. Throughout evolution, the first hominids became “Homo”, 2.8 million years ago. There was also the Neanderthal, the Homo erectus or even the Homo habilis.
Today, the Homo sapiens is the only human left. Homo sapiens means “knowledgeable man”, he appeared on Earth only 200,000 years ago. As time passed, the different species of hominids separated which led to two different creations: mankind and chimpanzees. Most of the scientists agree to the fact that the Homo sapiens came from Africa, and colonized the rest of the world after.
It's been 200,000 years that the Homo sapiens has been continuously evolving. He's the only one that developed his abilities and learned how to use tools. Further more, genetics evolved too because each human is unique, whether it’s the color of his skin, the construction of his hair, his height or even the color of the eyes. Today we are more than 7.5 billion Homo sapiens on Earth.
