The origin and formation of the sun
The sun was born approximately 4.5 billion years ago in the midst of a solar nebula.
The solar nebula is a region where planets and stars can develop over millions of years. It is largely populated by large masses of clouds, dust and various gases. These clouds, gases and dust maintained within a nebula and condense into a heavy matter.
The fusion of this matter created by gravity enables the expansion of a disc-like protostar. The now expanding protostar consumes smaller particles around it as it begins to rotate in place. A 50 million year energizing process of maturity creates its shape and develops the formation of sufficient quantities of hydrogen and helium. These elements enable the development of a suitable pressure gradient and temperature which allows the planets to orbit around it.
A sun is a star, and the quantity in existence is still immesurable. There are simply billions of them.
