A U.S. appeals court in California ruled on Thursday that President Donald Trump’s administration must continue the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, otherwise known as DACA. The program that began under former President Barack Obama protects hundreds of thousands of immigrants from deportation who were brought into the country illegally as children and gives them work permits. The decision was made by San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
