South Korea's current account surplus in September surpassed the 10 billion U.S. dollar mark for the first time in a year,... while recording a surplus for the 79th month in a row.
According to the Bank of Korea on Tuesday,.... the surplus was 10-point-8-3 billion dollars,... the highest since September 2017.
The goods account surplus also posted a yearly record high... although the nation's export and imports declined in September on-year due to fewer business days.
There were four fewer working days compared to the same period last year... due to the Chuseok holiday which fell in the last week of September this year.
