Amazon Narrowing Down HQ2 Location According to the 'Wall Street Journal,' Amazon has narrowed down its finalists to a “small handful” of cities. The company has yet to make a firm decision on a location for HQ2. New York City, Dallas and Arlington, Virginia currently seem to be the most promising. Talks with other eligible cities, including Atlanta, Denver and Toronto, have calmed down. The company hasn't provided clues as to who's in the lead. Amazon has promised to make a decision on the new HQ’s whereabouts by the end of 2018.
