To me they’re a comfort. They don’t answer back, wont judge the words you label them with, don’t care for ink colour or writing style. They’re a consistent safety net I’ve had all my life to catch me when I fall. I also see people as blank pages, the more we interact the more space gets filled in, the more our stories are known. Even with a white page and black ink you can spell out more colour than the eye can see - Inja
