Pres. Moon to attend ASEAN and APEC summits in Singapore and Papua New Guinea

President Moon Jae-in will attend a series of regional summits in Singapore and Papua New Guinea later this month.
The presidential office confirmed on Monday that President Moon will be spending four days from the 13th in Singapore,... taking part in the East Asia Summit and other summits with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
And for the two days from 17th, the President will attend this year's APEC summit in Papua New Guinea, where he will call for international support for his peace drive.
"Through multiple summits, President Moon is set to firm up support from respective nations on establishing lasting peace and prosperity in the region, while strengthening friendly cooperation. "
The top office spokesperson added that the two-nation trip shows the importance Seoul attaches to improving cooperation with East Asian nations.
