Trump Tells Rally Crowd: 'I'm The Only One That Tells You The Facts'

President Trump took another jab at the media on Saturday.

President Trump told a crowd gathered in Montana on Saturday that he's the "only one" that tells them the facts.
He made the remark at a campaign rally while discussing the work done by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
"Last year alone, our ICE officers arrested more than 127,000 criminal aliens," Trump said. "Can you imagine? These are criminal aliens. And they want to get rid of ICE. Even you in Montana, you're not going to be able to walk around."
"Including those charged or convicted are 48,000 assaults, 12,000 sex crimes, and 1,800 homicides. You know, you don't hear that. I'm the only one that tells you the facts," Trump goes on to say.
In his push to discredit the mainstream media, Trump has made similar comments before.
Back in July, he said during a speech in Kansas City: "Stick with us. Don't believe the crap you see from these people, the fake news. ... What you're seeing and what you're reading is not what's happening."
The media has also been among Trump's favorite Twitter targets.
Just days ago, he wrote: "There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame."  Another tweet on the topic read: "I just cannot state strongly enough how totally dishonest much of the Media is. Truth doesn't matter to them, they only have their hatred & agenda. This includes fake books, which come out about me all the time, always anonymous sources, and are pure fiction. Enemy of the People!"
