Trump Asks 'What About The Others?' After Kavanaugh Accuser Recants Claim

President Trump on Saturday lashed out at Brett Kavanaugh accusers.

President Trump has questioned the women who have accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault after one accuser admitted her claim had been a "ploy" to block his nomination.
The president tweeted Saturday: "A vicious accuser of Justice Kavanaugh has just admitted that she was lying, her story was totally made up, or FAKE! Can you imagine if he didn't become a Justice of the Supreme Court because of her disgusting False Statements. What about the others? Where are the Dems on this?"
His post comes a day after Senator Chuck Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray about a sexual assault allegation against Judge Kavanaugh that had been determined to be "fabricated."
According to the letter, a "Jane Doe" claim had initially been sent to the office of Senator Kamala Harris, and in a subsequent email, Judy Munro-Leighton identified herself as the "Jane Doe" writer and stated, "Kavanaugh raped me."
However, when committee investigators followed up with her, she denied being "Jane Doe," and, according to Grassley's letter, in part, "She further confessed to Committee investigators that (1) she "just wanted to get attention"; (2) "it was a tactic"; and (3) "that was just a ploy."...to oppose [Kavanaugh's] nomination….she said: "I was angry, and I sent it out."
The woman is now being investigated for potential charges including making false statements.
