Russia Stops Release Of Hollywood Film Featuring Kremlin coup

According to Reuters Russia has blamed bureaucracy for a recent decision to stop the release of a Hollywood movie. The film centers on the fictional story of U.S. troops rescuing a Russian president from a Kremlin coup. The action-thriller “Hunter Killer” was due to be released in Russia on Nov. 1, but the film was pulled, prompting allegations that it was censored because its plot undermines President Vladimir Putin’s image.
