Burlesque is an over-the-top, swarovski-studded, finger-snapping ride of a film. Ali (Christina Aguilera), a small time gal with a bloody big voice, dreams of living the high-life and moves to LA with dreams of making it big. Cue The Burlesque Lounge. Run by Tess (Cher) the club is packed with paying customers, opulent furnishings, a big band and, of course, stunning Burlesque dancers in outrageous outfits. We were lucky enough to have a natter with director, Steven Antin, as well as love interest Jack (Gigandet) and bitchy burlesque dancer Nikki (Bell) when they were in town last week.
