Apple Announces
New Macbook Air,
iPad Pro and Mac Mini Apple's second keynote in
two months took place at
the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The company announced a
completely redesigned
MacBook Air with Retina
display, starting at $1199. The laptop is 25% lighter
than its predecessor and
is now made out of
100% recycled aluminum. It also is designed without
the TouchBar feature,
which was disliked by many users. Tim Cook, via CNN Also announced, the new iPad Pro
is now almost 6 mm thinner and
comes without a home button. The new iPad Pro uses facial
recognition technology. Because it now
supports USB-C, The new Mac Mini
is five times faster. The new Mac Mini
starts at $799.
