Robert Bowers faces 29 criminal counts for allegedly carrying out a deadly attack on a synagogue in Pittsburgh.
The 46-year-old is accused of killing 11 worshipers at the Tree of Life Synagogue, while wounding six other people, including four police officers.
Confined to a wheelchair, Bowers was ferried into the courtroom to sign papers related to the charges against him.
